Két újabb albumot nyitottam a Galériában Che egyiptomi látogatásairól - igaz, az egyiket csupán átneveztem, mert kiderült a látogatás pontos dátuma, és mindkettőbe sikerült újabb fényképeket szereznem és feltöltenem.

I have opened two new albums in the Gallery about Che's visits to Egypt - actually, one of them has been simply renamed because I got to know the exact date of the visit, and I managed to obtain and upload new photographs into both of them.

"Che Guevara utolsó napjai" - újabb mérföldkő a Red Quill Books kiadó számára

A Red Quill Books egy kis kiadó. 2009-ben alapították, a nagy recesszió csúcsán, és a kiadó hamarosan az ötödik születésnapját ünnepli, több, mint két tucat kiadott könyvvel. Olyan kiadványok fűződnek a nevükhöz, mint Karl Marx A tőke-jének manga-változata, a négyrészes Communist Manifesto (négy nyelven olvasható), és egy új életrajzi képregény, a “Che Guevara utolsó napjai”, ami múlt hónapban jelent meg.

A “The Last Days of Che Guevara: A Graphic Novel,” bevezető a világtörténelem leghíresebb forradalmárának életébe és mítoszába. "The Last Days of Che Guevara" Marks Another Milestone for Red Quill Books

Red Quill Books is the little press that could. Founded in 2009, at the height of the Great recession, the alternative press is about to celebrate its fifth year of operation with over two-dozen titles. The publishing house was set up with the mission of creating a new space for disseminating critical ideas in creative ways. Five years on, Red Quill Books (RQB) is prospering largely due to the success of its wildly successful “radical comix” series which includes a manga version of Das Kapital, a four-part series on the Communist Manifesto (available in four languages), and a new biographical comic entitled “The Last Days of Che Guevara” released last month.

Red Quill’s latest project is “The Last Days of Che Guevara: A Graphic Novel,” an accessible and engaging introduction to the life and mythology of what is arguably history’s most well known revolutionary. The biographical comic begins with Ernesto Guevara’s capture in October 1967, tracing the power of his legacy through his engagements with central figures of that tumultuous period. The biography is the English translation of the Italian biographical comic by Rizzo and Bonaccorso. “Once I set my eyes on the Italian version,” said Rigakos “I knew we had to make it a Red Quill title.”

Magam sem hittem volna, mégis sikerült egyetlen nap alatt feltöltenem a vadonatúj galériát. Igyekeztem még átláthatóbbá tenni a különböző albumokat, így Ti is könnyebben kalandozhattok a képek között.
Külön évekre bontottam az albumokat, 1959 és 1966 között pedig kisebb albumokra minden egyes, dátum szerint ismert eseményt. A kongói és a bolíviai hadjárat is külön kategóriát kapott, ahogyan a sportok, az önkéntes munka és Che családi fényképei is. Külön albumokba kerültek a Che-vel kapcsolatos emlékek (szobrok, helyek, festmények, bélyegek, plakátok és egyéb tárgyak) is.
A címlapfotóra kattintva meg is csodálhatjátok a munkámat, ugyanakkor, ahogyan tegnap megígértem, már a Menübe is belinkeltem.

I would have never thought but still I managed to fill the brand new gallery within less than twenty-four hours. I was trying to make it more simple, so You can browse the photographs more easily.
I have made separate albums for each year, between 1959 and 1966 there are smaller albums for each, dated historical event. The Congo and the Bolivian campaigns were given separate categories as well, just like the sports, the voluntary work and Che's family photographs. Separate albums were given to the memories and objects in connection with Che (statues, memorial sites, paintings, stamps, billboards and other objects).
