HAVANA Cuban children wearing red or blue neckerchiefs dance, jump and play in a complex of blocky, Soviet-style buildings with a giant red "Che" scrawled above the entrance. It's a kind of cross between slumber party and Scout Jamboree, with a distinctly Cuban flair.
Kids learn skills such as tying knots and how to navigate by the stars; there are also competitions including races to dress themselves blindfolded, as well as sports and cultural activities.

Similar events are held around the island each April 4 to mark the anniversaries of the Organization of Cuban Pioneers and of the Union of Communist Youth. Cuban schoolchildren are referred to as "pioneers," and the organization was founded in 1961 to encourage the values of education and social responsibility among children and adolescents.

The Havana building where the event takes place is called the Palace of Pioneers "Ernesto Guevara" — the Argentine-born revolutionary famously nicknamed "Che," who is loathed by his detractors and venerated as a symbol of revolutionary resistance by his admirers.
More than 50 years after the Cuban Revolution, Guevara is held up here as a model for young people to emulate, with schoolchildren commonly led in chants of "Seremos como el 'Che'" — "We will be like 'Che.'"

Exactly six months ago, on 5th October 2013 Che Guevara Siempre was opened!
First of all, I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for all my lovely visitors, that they have ever been here, especially if they have returned after their first visit - even regularly!
I really love dealing with Che Guevara and my website, collecting photos and videos, writing and translating articles, but it is also a huge joy for me when someone considers my work worthy of attention. I hope that in the future a lot of people will come here and get to know Che.

Nem újdonság, hogy Che Guevara arcát és nevét a reklámiparban még manapság is felhasználják, hogy nagyobb figyelmet kelthessenek a termékükkel.
Reklámoztak már vele vodkát (Smirnoff), fagylaltot, parfümöt, cigarettát, kólát, autót (Dacia), napszemüveget (Jean Paul Gaultier), fényképezőgépet (Leica), sőt, feltűnt egy Taco Bell- és Converse-reklámfilmben is.

Most ismét egy reklámfilmben szerepeltették: a legújabb Kapitall-reklámfilmben, amely hamarosan látható lesz a YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google és Yahoo oldalain, Che, Jézus, Dzsingisz kán, Leonardo da Vinci és Kleopátra elevenedik meg a képernyőn az online befektetési cég szóvivőjeként. 
A Kapitall történelmi alakok felhasználásával próbálta felkelteni az emberek figyelmét és céljuk - állításuk szerint - nem a megbotránkoztatás, hanem a szellemes és forradalmi megközelítés volt.
Vajon mennyire szellemes vagy undorító a film, döntse el a néző.

It is nothing new that Che Guevara's face and name has been used for advertisements even today, in order to create bigger attention.
He has already been used for advertising vodka (Smirnoff), ice-cream, perfume, cigarettes, Coke, car (Dacia), sunglasses (Jean Paul Gaultier), camera (Leica), and he even has appeared in a Taco Bell- and Converse-spot as well.

Now he can be seen on the screen again: in the latest Kapitall-advertisement that soon will be published on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google and Yahoo, Che, Jesus, Genghis Khan, Leonardo da Vinci and Cleopatra come alive as the spokesmen of the online trading service.
Kapitall used historic figures to create attention and they claim that they didn't want to be offensive - they simply wanted something witty and revolutionary.
If the spot is witty or disgusting - the viewers will decide.
