|
La palabra empeñada is a documentary film, released in 2010.
It shows the life of the famous Argentinian journalist and guerrilla, Jorge Ricardo Masetti through archive footage and interviews with people who knew him well like his friend, the Nobel-awarded writer, Gabriel García Márquez, the historian Osvaldo Bayer, the journalist Rogelio García Lupo and Conchita Dumois, who was his secretary and his second wife.
Masetti went to the Sierra Maestra in 1958 to make an interview with Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. He became a close friend of Che, they founded the Prensa Latina, the Latin American news agency and they prepared a guerrilla campaign (Ejército Guerrillero del Pueblo (EGP) in Argentina. Masetti led the campaign under the name El Comandante Segundo (The second commander) and he disappeared in the Argentinian jungle in 1964 after the EGP failed.
The film was shot in Cuba and the Northeast Argentina.

Ritka filmösszeállítás | Rare footage
Először is, kellemes húsvéti ünnepeket kívánok mindenkinek!
A Che Guevara Siempre egyik csodás látogatója, Shams, olyan kedves volt múlt este, hogy megosztott velem egy fantasztikus videót - amit most megosztok veletek.
A filmecske néhány csodálatos és ritka anyagot tartalmaz Che-ről - nemcsak a Kubán belüli és kívűli utazásairól, hanem egy rövid, valódi exkluzív felvételt a Sierra Maestra-ban töltött napokról!
Az audio anyag válogatás néhány beszédéből.
Még egyszer, nagyon köszönöm, Shams!

First of all, I would like to wish a happy Easter to everyone!
One of the amazing visitors of Che Guevara Siempre, called Shams, was so lovely that last night she shared a fantastic video with me - that I am going to share with you.
It contains some wonderful and rare footage of Che - not only during his visits around and outside Cuba, but some early, exclusive material from the Sierra Maestra!
The audio is a compilation of his speeches.
Thank you, Shams, so much, again!

Che Guevara és a sakk | Che Guevara and the chess
Mára két érdekes videóval (noha meglehetősen rövid) érkeztem.
Mindenki tudja, hogy Che Guevara gyermekkora óta szenvedélyes sakkjátékos volt, felnőtt korában is mindig szakított időt a játékra, szakkönyveket olvasott, ő szervezte meg a mára a legfontosabbá vált kubai sakkversenyt, és még bajnokokkal is megmérkőzött.
Találtam egy (sajnos csupán) öt másodperces minifilmet, amelyen sakkozás közben látható. A másik videó inkább azoknak lesz érdekes, akik jól tudnak sakkozni - ebben ugyanis annak a sakk-mérkőzésnek a lépései láthatóak, amelyet Che és az argentín sakk-nagymester, Miguel Najdorf vívott 1962-ben Havannában.

For today, I have brought you two interesting (however extremely short) videos.
Everyone knows that Che Guevara was a passionate chess-player since his childhood, even in his busy adult years he always devoted time to play chess and read professional books about the topic, he organised a chess tournament that has become the most important one in Cuba, and he even played with the best players.
I have found a (unfortunately only) five-second-long minifilm, where you can see Che playing chess.
The other video will be interesting only for those who can play chess well - here you can see the game which was played by Che and the Argentine chess grand master, Miguel Najdorf in 1962 in Havana.

Video Update
A harmadik videóra véletlenül bukkantam: Che életét mutatja be videofelvételek formájában, fordított időrendben - a halálától a születéséig.

For today, I have brought you three amazing videofilms. (I don't put them here in the post because they would make the page work slower, so you can check them out below, on the given link.)
The first two videos were offered to me by my friend, Aiya - while listening to Russian songs about Che Guevara, you can see awesome footage about Che (and Fidel), such footage that is rarely used by his admirers.
I met the third video by accident - it shows Che's life in the forms of short clips, in reverse chronology - from his death to his birth.

Ernesto Che Guevara, the Argentine-born revolutionary, minister, guerrilla leader and writer, received his medical degree in Buenos Aires, then played an essential part in the Cuban Revolution in liberating and rebuilding the country. He did his best to set up the Cuban economy, fought for the improvement of the education and the health system, the elimination of illiteracy and racial prejudice. He promoted voluntary work by his own example. He fought in the Congo and in Bolivia - he was thirty-nine years old, when he was trapped and executed by the joint American-Bolivian forces.
