If you visit Cuba, there are some places to see that must not be missed and that preserve the memory of Che Guevara. I have collected these in this module.

HAVANA
~ Museo del Automóvil / Museum of Automobiles
(Calle Oficios 12, esquina Jústiz)
One of the most important pieces of the special collection is Che's green Chevrolet from 1960.
~ Museo de la Revolución / Museum of the Revolution
(Calle Refugio 1, Avenida de las Misiones y Agramonte (Zulueta)
Besides Che's personal objects, the visitors can see the wax statue of Che and Camilo, the bronze statue of Che, Camilo and Fidel and of course the yacht Granma itself.

~ Hotel Havana Libre
(Calle L, entre 23 y 25)
When Che arrived at Havana after the victory of the revolution, he lived in this hotel for a while (just like Fidel and some other members of the revolutionary government).
~ Plaza de la Revolución / Square of the Revolution
On the front of the Ministry for the Home Affairs, on the north-west side of the square you can see the world-famous Che-portrait, made of steel, that was based on the also world-famous photograph of Che, taken by Alberto Korda.

~ El Castillo de Farnés

In the restaurant you can see a lot of photos of Che and the Castro-brothers, who ate there when they arrived at Havana in January 1959.
HAVANA - OUTSKIRTS
~ Instituto Superior de Arte / Institution of Arts
(Calle 120 #1110, esquina a 9na)
The former country club was converted into a school for arts - by Che's initiative. It became Cuba's leading artistic institute and the complex has been considered as one of the greatest architectural achievements of the revolution.
~ Museo Nacional de Alfabetización (National Museum of the Fight against illiteracy)

As the fight against illiteracy was very important for Che - as he also taught his own combatants to read and write in the Sierra Maestra, then in Havana as well - that is why you must visit this place.
~ Museo del Aire (Museum of Flying)
(Avenida 212, entre 29 y 31, La Coronela)
Besides the several aeroplanes and other flying vehicles, Che's Cessna aeroplane can be seen.
~ Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabaña
Che was the commander of the largest fortress of America in the first half of 1959 és here he made several hundreds of enemies of the revolution tried and executed. The Comandancia de Che Guevara shows some of his personal objects.
~ Centro de Estudios Che Guevara

PINAR DEL RÍO
~ Cueva de los Portales
In this cave Che had his headquarters during the missile crisis of 1962 - nowadays you can see the original furniture and several of his personal objects.
SANTA CLARA - also known as Che's city [Details] és [Photos]
In this city Che had his biggest victory on the last days of December 1958. It has several interesting places to see for the admirers of the Comandante.
