I have uploaded two more audio clips on youtube (the photos, that you can see in the clips, are from the same year as these speeches themselves).
~ Audio: Che Guevara talks at the Trade and Development World Conference, 25 March 1964
~ Audio: Che Guevara talks at the XIX United Nations General Assembly, 11 December 1964
I am going to share a third audio clip with you: in March 1964 Lisa Howard, American journalist made an interview with Che Guevara in Havana - he was the minister of industry at that time. Che's replies are translated by an American interpreter, so the original Spanish text cannot really be heard.
Now you can watch three short videofilms: the first one is a part of Che Guevara's speech at the UN on 11 December 1964, the last two ones are a kind of fan videos, where a lot of amazing photos can be seen during the audio material in connection with Che.

Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War
Kigyűjtöttem a legérdekesebb - angol nyelvű - idézeteket:

The topic of today is Che Guevara's book, the Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War, that was based on his diaries and his articles written during the Cuban Revolution. A really honest and outspoken writing.
Here I have collected the most interesting quotes:

Articles in Spanish and in Portuguese
|
For the Spanish-speaking visitors, I found an article from June 2012 in which Che Guevara's youngest brother, Juan Martín talks a little about his famous brother:
~ Juan Martín Guevara's short interview
For the Portuguese-speaking visitors, I found a kind of summary about Che Guevara titled 50 verdades sobre Ernesto "Che" Guevara, in which you can read fifty interesting facts about el Comandante with some of his quotes:
~ 50 verdades sobre Ernesto "Che" Guevara
It is worth noticing that this article may contain mistakes as well. Unfortunately I don't speak Portuguese but some of the descriptions under the photos are wrong - and it may raise questions about the credibility of the whole text.
The second photo of Ernesto is from 1943 (and not 1945).
The third photo actually shows (from left to right): Aleida March, Aleida, Hildita, Camilo, Che, an unknown little girl and Celia de la Serna, Che's mother (so Aleida is holding her daughter with the same name - and not Celia who was born later).
The fifth photo was taken in Moscow in 1960 (and not in 1965).
The sixth photo was taken in Havana on 5th March 1960 (and not in 1959).

Quotes
|
I have collected some interesting - and sometimes a kind of controversial - quotes from two of Che Guevara's books (Motorcycle Diaries and Otra Vez / Latin American Diaries).
This way we can get to know him better - and not only the good side of him, but the less good one as well. Here you can read some foulmouthed remarks too.
You can find them in the module titled Quotes but now I put the links here:
~ Quotes from the Motorcycle Diaries
~ Quotes from the Otra Vez / Latin American Diaries
I am going to collect more quotes, out of Che's books and speeches, but, of course, it takes time as I am reading. (These days I am reading The Diary of a Combatant.) When the Quotes module is updated, I will let you know about it.

Ernesto Che Guevara, the Argentine-born revolutionary, minister, guerrilla leader and writer, received his medical degree in Buenos Aires, then played an essential part in the Cuban Revolution in liberating and rebuilding the country. He did his best to set up the Cuban economy, fought for the improvement of the education and the health system, the elimination of illiteracy and racial prejudice. He promoted voluntary work by his own example. He fought in the Congo and in Bolivia - he was thirty-nine years old, when he was trapped and executed by the joint American-Bolivian forces.
