Che Guevara was always a controversial figure of the history.
Many people around the world adore him and respect him as a revolutionary hero, an example to be followed, especially in Latin and South America, and on the African continent. The Mexican revolutionary fighter, Subcomandante Marcos and the late ex-president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela both respected Che and held a high opinion of him. People living in countries oppressed by a foreign power or people who feel that their freedom is threatened by their own government, wear his face on their T-shirts and their flags when they go on demonstrating and they consider Che as their leader and example.
Others - living in the capitalist world - hate him and call him a racist mass murderer.
What is the truth? The truth is that Che Guevara was not a saint. He was a human person, who wanted to create amazing things like freedom for everyone and racial equality for every person, independent of the colour of their skin. He also made mistakes and he killed - but he was not a "butcher" as his enemies like to call him.
Here I would like to clear some of the lies of the anti-Guevara propaganda (created and supported by the American government and many Cuban exiles who have been living in the USA since the victory of the Cuban Revolution) that has been spread since the 1960s.
The articles were written by me, by the help of Che Guevara's writings and speeches that I quoted with their source so anyone can check them.
Here is the first topic: - Charge: Che Guevara was a racist.
